1. Endoscopic Radiologic Conference

The quarterly ERC was held in the various accredited training institutions where fellows-in-training presented interesting cases that increased the participants’ knowledge in gastroenterologic diseases and endoscopic procedures. The innovative ways each institutions’ fellows presented these cases involving thematic presentations focused on popular television games or shows were highly appreciated by the attendees. One conference even focused on the various uses of metallic stents.

6. ENDO FORUM

A venue for endoscopic case discussion. Not actually new in the pipeline… A brain child of Dr. Evan Ong and reborn by the current PSDE Board with Dr. Julius Co- Soriano as chair, we had a series of fora this year from …Biliarycomplications, obscure GI bleeding. A well anticipated activity by the fellows and consultants alike. Invited guests from other disciplines were likewise very appreciative and without hesitations gave their inputs of the cases presented. This is one thing that we would like to continue in the years to come.

7. Ex-Vivo Workshop For Nurses

This is in collaboration with Dr.Evan Ong whose heart and passion is into endoscopy… Here, they are given the chance to be hands on from basic to advance endoscopic procedures… This gives a big boost in the training of our fellows and most of all gives them the direction they want to pursue after their fellowship… Hopefully another workshop will be done before March of this year.
