My mother, Linda 76yo is a cancer survivor. As part of her monitoring, her Oncologist suggested colonoscopy. I have experienced jaundice due to obstruction of stones found in my common bile duct and because of this situation we communicated our gastroenterologist and he advised us to undergo ERCP procedure. My father was having intermittent abdominal discomfort and decreased appetite for almost a week. This was not his usual self and this got us concerned. A few days later, he started becoming jaundiced. We got worried thinking this was his liver. We found out he had bile duct stone dislodged close to his pancreas. With the help of an experienced Gastroenterologist and his endoscopic skills, my father had a successful removal of that stone. He made a fast recovery and he got back to normal in less than a week. We are truly grateful to the Lord for the Doctor and the endoscopic team that helped my father.
